Rob Dyrdek is someone I really look up to, his carefree business practices and "have fun" attitude are practices I want to implement into my own business. I decided to make Rob Dydek the first person I feature for that reason. Heres how Rob Dyrdek did it....Rob Dyrdek grew up in Ohio, and after discovering the skateboard became ingrained in the small but passionate local skate scene. Quickly becoming a pro, he moved to San Diego to engulf himself in the real skateboarding Mecca at the time, San Diego, and received lucrative sponsorships. Josh Kalis is a skateboarder who rides for 9five eyewear, and other big companies. He is a dope skater out of the california area, and has made a career out of skateboarding.  Josh has achieved success in this industry and has done it without the help of a college degree, or even a high school diploma. Im not saying I agree with not finishing high school, but it just show you that with a little drive and faith, success is still possible.

I may not have a degree, but I do in fact have the drive and talent it takes to make my dreams come true.  I hate the fact that young people are pretty much sold the idea that college is the only route to success, when in fact most college students graduate in a worse situation due to large debts and lack of jobs.  I plan to show that there are ways to be successful without going to college for 4-10 years. This blog will highlight careers that you don't necessarily need a degree to be sucessful, and indiviuals who made it without following the traditional college route.  This blog will also highlight the lastest in Fashion, Extreme Sports, Music, and Art....it's only right!
